16 meetings in 14 areas in 3 months

A catering area plan has been drawn up for each of the 14 unique sub-areas in Rotterdam, in which the vision and ambition of the catering industry is described and is revised every three years. The catering area plan indicates, among other things, where and what kind of new catering industry is possible.

For the new catering area plan 2024-2027, We, together with the Municipality of Rotterdam, village and district councils, residents, catering entrepreneurs and other stakeholders, entered into discussions about the catering industry in their area. So that it continues to meet their wishes and needs.

Drinking coffee on the terrace or going out for a nice meal is part of an attractive and safe city. It is important that there is a good balance between the liveliness of the catering industry and a pleasant living environment. Participants shared their experience, wishes and expectations about the catering industry in their area.
