CASA NEVES

The projectsite is situated in a rural area in Sao Nicolau, Cape Verde. The house has its orientation to the South, which is emphazised by the large balcony on the south-east facades.
The assignment was the design of an added garage and an additional chamber. This gave the opportunity to tackle the backside on the North, which has turned into the entrance side, due to recent urban development. The new addition is open to the street, with the extended balcony and a cut out corner. The glass facade ensures an open and bright chamber with clear view of the beautifull mountain landscape.
